The state is accepting public comments on the Louisiana Watershed Initiative’s proposed Action Plan to spend $1.2 billion in Community Development Block Grant Mitigation funds until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29.

The proposed plan outlines the state’s approach to funding projects, data collection, modeling and policy measures that align with the Louisiana Watershed Initiative's long-term resilience objectives.

The public may submit comments either online or via email, mail or fax. The state will address all comments when it submits the plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for approval.
