Watershed Model Training: Region 1

The Louisiana Watershed Initiative and its partners are hosting watershed model training sessions in each of the seven modeling regions of the state. The trainings are geared toward engineers, floodplain managers, local planners and government officials.

LWI, in partnership with technical experts, universities and federal agencies, completed development of hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models of Louisiana’s watersheds this year, marking a critical milestone in the effort to reduce flood risks statewide.
